What is "Bespoke"?

Bespoke (pronounced bee-SPOHK) is a term used in the United Kingdom and elsewhere for a custom-made product or service, and was traditionally used when referencing custom-tailored clothing. It is a word representing individual attention to small detail, and invokes images of Old-World craftsmanship. Bespoke is a form derived from bespeak, which was used as early as 1583 to refer to the ordering of specialty goods.
